Friday, August 06, 2004 so its been a while yeah? yeah, yeah it has.
so i just watched butterfly effect finally, and man, i am quite impressed. i didnt think it could be half as good as it was with ashton kutcher in a serious role, but man, he was pretty damn good. it definately changes my view on his abilities and his taste in good movies.
they really did a good job with the whole thing. usually movies like that have so many plot holes and things that just dont add up no matter how much explanation is given, but they pulled it off for this one. and the director's cut did an even better job at this. the ending was much better. anyway, i suggest this movie to anyone who has good taste in movies.
most importantly, i got my new cell phone which is sweet. its my first clamshell phone, and is gonna take some getting used to (mostly the fragile nature of clamshells) but it is definately awesome. its a motorola (and i was a bit hesitant to get a moto) v600 and it is in my opinion one of the best looking phones on the market. its got great functionality, and most importantly, it is half the size of my old nokia 3650. i no longer have a brick phone. granted the nokia was a very excellent phone and probably the best ill ever have, but it was just way too big. also, with my new phone comes a new number (815-616-0331) which is awesome for 2 reasons. one is that it is very easy to remember and a pretty cool number, and two is that now i will be able to order pizza at my apartment, cus they only take 815 area codes. so that is good.
anyway, it is time for me to go dorment for months again, so please, stay tuned, or else you may never know that nothing has changed here at namenottaken.blogspot.com

Monday, June 07, 2004 well, first things first - saw shrek 2 the other day. it was very very funny. hilarious even. glad i saw it, but sure wish it was free 99 instead of 7.25
now onto the cool stuff. my car is finally fixed!!!!!! i installed the new shocks today and let me tell you, it rides like a dream. i wasted a quarter tank of gas today cus i just had to drive around. its been a long and bumpy year of mobile trampoline, but now it is no longer. id have to say, the car rides like a bently. or maybe a hummer. i dont know - im not a doctor. all i can tell you is all is finally well with my car. no onto the fun stuff.... turbo? new interior?? who knows.
